Anja is my 'all girl' girl. She loves her shoes (sandals in this case), sunglasses, fun spring clothes, and hair done. She loves to ride her horse...she bounces and bounces and bounces. And now that the weather usually warms up to the 60s most days...we get to play outside on the playground...right outside our front door.

Visit to D.C.
Yeah!! My sister Holly came to visit (just love her) and we took her on her first trip to D.C. We had a wonderful time, saw most of the major monuments...all of them that are in the National Mall that is...and only fell a couple of times (walking down the sidewalks). The first pic is at the World War II monument and the second is in front of the White House (just imagine Holly with her eyes open). We love Holly and miss her tons!

4 Generations
While in Oregon, I took a four generation photo. I almost didn't get it...cuz of schedules and such...but on the last night there, we went to my grandma's house. Thanks Holly for taking the photo. My grandma is Norene and she is 89, then my dad, Conrad, then me, and Carter and Anja. My grandma is so funny and has a great personality...I just love her. Plus my dad is pretty 'rockin' as well!

I'm so sick!
I just thought I whine and let everyone know that I've now gotten that blasted stomach virus TWICE!..as did Anja. Carter had it on Thursday and Anja and I woke up Friday night and began our trips to the bathroom. I'm still very weak and sick. We got this in Oregon as well (Carter was lucky to bypass...but my parents and sister got it). As a word of caution to those who have gotten it and not gotten it....stay away from anyone that is sick. This one bites the big one. You don't want this virus.
I hope others are feeling well. Happy President's Day weekend!

Alexis is Pregnant.
We wanted to let all our family and friends know that Lexi is pregnant and is due on September 10. Exactly two years from Anja. Yeah for her...and yeah for all the great (j/k) side effects that come along with being in the first trimester. Two more weeks and she's officially out of that. Here's to hoping some of the crummy symptoms go away. :)
