Me and My Dinosaur

Carter has begun a new tradition.  He likes to bring one toy in the car with him on the way to church.  On this particular day, I was taking pictures of the kids before church and Carter said, "Hey Mom, take a picture with me and my dinosaur."  "Ok Carter, say cheese." "CHEEEEEESE!"

Ladybug Dress

Anja has found a new joy in her life...her hat (that is from Gram and Grandpa) and any accessory that she can grab.  Today for church, after I dressed her in her ladybug dress (Anja loves ladybugs) she needed to wear her hat and wanted to wear this purse.  Actually it's a cell phone case holder.  She wore her hat and purse all day...she didn't take it off until we got home from church.

Our little girl turned 2 years old today.  We were so excited for her birthday.  She had fun opening presents, playing with her friends at her party, eating her cupcake, and eating her birthday dinner at Red Robin.  She is our little girl and we love her to pieces.  On this special day, we're reminded of her birth, her milestones, and the joy she brings to our family.  Anja loves to make us laugh, she has a sweet heart, and loves to play with her family and friends.  We are so happy to have Anja in our family.  We love our little Anja.

Spending Time Together

On Friday, I took some photos of the kids.  They (for the most part) posed nicely for me.  We had a good time.  Especially when Carter and Anja were trying to get Fischer to smile.

We just love him to pieces.

Fischer was our smallest baby, but I figured it out and he arrived, in terms of pregnancy length, 14 days before Anja.  Anja weighed 8lbs 12oz.  If Fischer had stayed in me 14 more days, he probably would have gone from 7lbs 14oz...to somewhere near Anja's weight.  Thank heavens he came early!

Clinton thinks that Fischer is going to have brown eyes, since Carter and Anja have blue eyes (his eye color) and it's only fair that I get a child with brown eyes (that and he thinks Fischer's eye color/tone was slightly different than the other two when he was born).

We think Fischer has big feet.  However, I've been told by some people that his feet are smaller than other infants his age.  Nonetheless, he does have big feet.  And if his feet are any indicator of how tall he'll be (?) we think he might be able to be tall like his Uncle Zach.

This is currently the best picture we have showing Fischer's hair.  He has lots of it...It is pretty long, full, and all the way around his head.  It looks dark, but actually lighter than Carter's and Anja's (when they were born).  Fischer's is more of a dark blond/lighter brown.  Whenever people see Fischer for the first time, they always comment on how much hair he has.

We are so excited to have baby Fischer in our home.  Carter and Anja are really enjoying him too.  Anja always wants to be near him and Carter loves holding him...they each LOVE to tickle his toes.  They ask where Fischer is, what he is doing, and Carter likes to imitate Fischer by kicking his legs in the air and saying, "This is how Fischer kicks his legs.  Isn't that silly?"  We're glad our children find Fischer so entertaining.  They run and laugh when they see him.  It's just so much fun.

Anja just LOVED Fischer the minute she got into the hospital room.  She immediately wanted to see him.  This is our first video of Fischer...Clinton holding Anja and Fischer and Alexis in her hospital bed (unable to maneuver around) trying her best to get good shots.
